Important Disclosure

I am not a CPA, Enrolled Agent, or licensed tax professional. I am a software developer who builds tax compliance tools. All content on EasyW9Form is educational, verified against official IRS publications and Internal Revenue Code sections, and is not a substitute for professional tax advice. Users should consult a qualified tax professional for decisions specific to their situation.

About

I am an independent software developer with a Computer Science degree. I built EasyW9Form because I saw a gap: freelancers and small businesses were either paying $15-30 for a simple W-9 form or uploading their Social Security Numbers to servers they had no reason to trust.

EasyW9Form processes every document entirely inside your browser. Your SSN, EIN, and personal data never leave your device. The PDF rendering, tax calculations, and e-signatures all happen in client-side JavaScript memory. When you close the tab, the data is gone.

Every article, calculator, and guide on this site is verified against official IRS publications, Revenue Procedures, and the Internal Revenue Code. I cite the specific sections at the bottom of every page so you can independently confirm anything I write. When the IRS updates a form or threshold, I update the affected content within a week.

I maintain this project as a solo developer. The tools are free. The content is free. The source code behind the tax calculators follows the exact algorithms published in IRS Publication 15-T and the official tax tables. If you find an error, I want to know about it.

Content Verification Methodology

Tax content on the internet is often outdated, copied from other sites, or written by people who never read the actual IRS source documents. Here is how content on EasyW9Form is produced and verified:

01

Primary Source Identification

Every article begins with the relevant IRS publication, Revenue Procedure, Treasury Regulation, or Internal Revenue Code section. No secondary sources or paraphrased summaries are used as the starting point.

02

Cross-Reference Against IRS.gov

Tax rates, thresholds, form instructions, and penalty amounts are verified line-by-line against the current documents published on irs.gov. When the IRS updates a publication mid-year, articles are updated within 7 days.

03

Calculator Algorithm Validation

Every tax calculator (paycheck, self-employment, bracket, penalty) is tested against the IRS tax tables and official withholding methodology in Publication 15-T. Edge cases are validated for each filing status.

04

Statutory Citation in Every Article

Each published guide includes a "Sources & Citations" footer listing the specific IRC sections, IRS publications, and Treasury Regulations referenced. Readers can independently verify every claim.
